Change iTunes account

Hi, when i activated my iPhone(well my older brother did it for me because he did it twice before), and when it asks for your Apple ID/AOL ID, my brother entered his, instead of a new one(which i want)..so, now that all that is set up,i know i can change it through iTunes on my PC, but when i sync it will it transfer the account to the iPhone? because i want to buy apps/songs straight from my phone ON MY ACC. not on my brothers. how do i go about switching accounts on the handheld itself?

oh and how do i create a new Apple ID account?

Apple ID Change

I just did this. What you need to do is first create an Apple ID account.

iTunes --> Store --> Sign-Out or Create Account (if you're not signed in)

Once you're done creating your account, sign-in and sync. If that doesn't work, go to the app store and download a random FREE app with your new ID. When it's done downloading sync again and the account should be changed on your phone also. Then go ahead and delete the random app you downloaded.
