I'm kind of sick of the menubar that apple has in os x and think its time for a change. I have scanned the net for themes etc but haven't found anything that I really like. So i thought I would have a shot at doing it myself. Obviously, I have a few questions (and I'm new to this so they are pretty basic :)):

1- I have heard that the file that needs to be edited is 102.png. Is this right or is it a hidden file? I've also heard of sartfiles, but I don't know what these are or how to access them.
2- How can I edit this file? Can I just open it in photoshop and start editing?
3- Can I change the height of it by a few pixels, or will this screw too many other things up?
4- Can I then change the files such as the menu selection highlighter (the thing that highlights the menu that you select, the default is just blue), and the actual dropdown menu?

Thanks.
