Change order to Pick up

My iPhone Rose Gold 7+ 256gb is being prepared for shipment. I just found out I will be away for the weekend. At what point can i change to pick up at UPS facility instead of home delivery. And do I do it on the UPS app or the Apple app.

Sign up UPS MyChoice on the UPS website. It will let you know when you have packages coming to your address. Once your iPhone shows up there, you can change the delivery options. That's how I change mine every year.

My problem is I won't be home until late Friday evening and my ups pickup place is closed on Saturdays.... The struggle

UPS My Choice via UPS website or UPS app; reschedule for pick up at UPS Store, another day/hold. They even have a new vacation service that will hold items up to a week is what I saw on their website recently. Or you can change the address and have someone else sign for it you trust at their residence.
