I have an 18 month contract on iPhone 4 and im only 6 months in to it, im not saying i want to but if i wanted to get rid of my iphone and change it for say a blackberry, is it possible ( staying on my contract ) if so how would i go about it?

Would i just sell my iphone and buy the blackberry then take sim out of iphone and put it in the blackberry and it will all run well? Or what?

Thanks.

I'm afraid this won't work under any carrier in the world.
Just stick with it/upgrade or get out of the contract paying the fee ):

Oh right thanks, yeah i will stick with it. Blackberry Bold 9780 is just too sexy to type with though.

Thats pretty much the idea, your going to have to buy the new phone at retail or off someone used.

If you told the carrier you wanted to trade phone types you could. You might pay big on the new phone, however. and the data plans are different so rates might change a bit.

I traded out of a blackberry to the 3GS mid contract and moved to ATT from Sprint too! It can work if you have been a good customer paying your bills on time and if they want the business.

If not then you could still do it but you may pay full freight.
