I have a relatively old printer (HP LaserJet P3015) which Ventura's System Settings displays with a.default icon. Older macOS versions had an icon that showed the actual printer, and I was able to find that icon in my old system in the printer app ~/Library/Printers/HP LaserJet P3015, and I was able to extract the icon into the corresponding printer app in my Ventura system, replacing the generic Printer.icns in the Resources folder.
The new icon appears when I print. But the new icon does NOT show up in System Settings' list of printers. Does anyone know where System Settings stores its icon so that I can change it there? Many thanks for any insight.
