Change Product Serial Number

I just bought a new version of iWork and wanted to change the product serial number to my new one. Is there a way to go in and update it with the new number? Thanks!

So... you had a pirated copy of iWork '08 with a pirated serial and now have the real thing and want to change your pirated serial to the real one?

you mean you upgraded from 06 to 08? Then you needto install the software and you'll enter your sn.

I don't believe there is a way to change the serial number. Though, can't you uninstall the program and reinstall it again with whatever serial number you want?

The serial is held in /Library/Preferences/com.apple.iwork08.plist

(that's the library folder off the root of your hard drive - NOT the one in your user directory).

You can either edit the plist and replace the serial, or just delete it for iWork to ask you for a new serial on next launch
