Change shipping address UPS? AT&T billing address requirement

Hey all,

Many of us are forced to ship our iPhones to our billing address. In my case, I live at a different location so its kind of a hassle. In many other cases, people want to ship it to their work.

I'm hoping I found a loophole but I'm sure you guys have thought of it already.


I clicked on my apple tracking info and saw the change delivery option. Then I read this.. (See screenshot)

What do you think? Can we change it? It would be awesome if we could!!

My friend tried to do this when the 5 came out but was unable. I logged onto UPS to try to change mine today and couldn't figure it out. The button is there but was just putting me into a loop of logging in, click the change address button, redirecting to a site, then back to the tracking page.

Edit: they said no. And to call apple. Anyone wanna call apple?

I called Apple to see if they would help me with this yesterday. What they will do is submit a request to AT&T to change the delivery address. Once AT&T blesses the address change Apple will have UPS change the delivery address.

OR... as I've done in year's past. Use UPS My Choice to deliver to a UPS store.

I've used the ship to a UPS store in the past but I am unable to change my 5S (ordered from Sprint) to anything except a neighbor. I don't get the option to ship it to a UPS store.

There's a thread where someone changed delivery to the local UPS store and the order now shows up with an exception. He's not sure if it will be delayed. Maybe something to ask when you get to that point.

Might be to late to change.

Next year change the shipping address after you order but before it ships. You do have to call apple to make the change but it is an easy call (this year less than 10 min on hold, 2 to get the change done, at 10am central). I have done it the last 3 years to get my phone delivered to work and get around the billing address issue.
