My cousin from UK sent me iPhone 4 and I live in US, so now even after unlocking the iPhone, it won't let me use it. So now I am wondering how to change settings in iPhone to make it usable in US. The version is 4.2.1 and the firmware is 03.10.01.

Thank you in advance for any kind of help.

Ultrasnow doesn't work on 3.10 baseband. Phones from UK can be factory unlock so it will forever work on any baseband. Send the phone back to you cousin and have it factory unlock.

You might not even have to send the phone back - just get your cousin to call customer service and ask to get the phone unlocked. I have done this twice in the past and my carrier (o2) has been very good about it… Don't remember what information they'll need - presumably just phone number (under which the phone was bought) and the device UDID?
