Change Wifi Card?

i have done some google searching but i couldnt find a solid answer.

My question is it possible to upgrade the wifi card in a early 2011 mbp.

With what do you want to upgrade it with? And 802.11 ac card?

thanks for the link, but i already knew how to remove it. i was just wanting to know if you could replace it with an ac card and what card to get.

That wasn't clear to me from your original post, thus my questions to clarify.

There does not seem to be a card having those features you want available for the MacBook Pros before going to Retina.

i understand and thank you for your help. yea i wish on the older models like mine they would have used the standard connector instead of creating there own.
