Never gonna work, all those IMEI numbers are stored on their servers, and unless you know of a way to generate legitimate ones, it simply won't work.

You don't have to. You just have to convince the APP that your IMEI is something else, which is trivial to do if you root the device.

Now, the problem is, generating a legit IMEI for another iPhone 4, and not to mention that this is quite illegal and Apple has a record of this transaction if they want to go after you.

You don't have to trick the app but also apples servers. And like you said to be able to generate valid imeis for what? A $2-3 case?
