I exchanged my SB SS for the silver. I can more easily see the side button on the silver version! The silver works with a wider range of bands—not that I see myself as changing bands often. I might want to get the SS link bracelet, which is easier to find in SS than SB.

In the past I have had reactions to some leather/plastic/silicone bands on my Swatch Watch (stainless steel), so I am unsure what alternative bands I might consider.

I have a question. When I had the SB Milanese Loop, I was charging the watch on its side, to prevent scratching. Do I need to do that with the regular SS as well?

Thanks.

One of the things that surprised me is that most of my settings had to be redone.

Well the stainless steel loop won’t scratch the sapphire but it will scratch the oleophobic coating. It will most likely scratch the polished finish too.
