Hello,

I can't believe how easy it was compared to 3GS, it's a shame Apple insist on having the screws instead of a slide off design or you could even carry spare batteries for when you run down.

Hopefully this is a sign Apple may evolve into allowing you to change the battery like nearly everyone else. :D

no pics of your work? :) i always like to see the insides when people take it apart. Also, where did you purchase the new battery and how much was it?

Sorry no pics I was in a rush, I got it from here

I think I had a faulty battery and because it was jailbroken and it's setup perfect for me I didn't want to exchange it at an Apple store. Nearest for me is Sheffield cost more to go than change battery myself.
