I decided to go for a larger SSD and swapped my OWC Mercury Extreme Pro 240 GB with a Samsung 830 512 GB.
Boot time is slightly faster, from 9.2 sec. with the OWC I was able to shave off .5 sec. and is now 8.7 sec.
Black Magic tests show quite a difference while Quickbench is in favor of the OWC

the only thing that bugs me is that I can't install my other 830 in the optic bay and experience a Raid 0. That's the only regret I have buying the Macbook Pro 13". Still I don't understand why Apple sometimes leaves this details out...
