Good Morning, First off, thanks to anyone who's taking the time to read this. I'm fairly novice with Macs and I'm hoping that someone can resolve this issue for me to save a trip to the Mac store for warranty work.

While I was setting up a home network with several machines, including Windows 7, Vista, XP, and Mac OS 10, I seemed to have broken my macbook pro.

From my windows machines, I was able to see my Mac's folders, but I was unable to access them. From the 'get info' option for the HD, I created a new credential, using the same name and password used to log onto the windows machine I was attempting to access the mac from. After doing so, there was an option to 'make owner', which I opted to do as it was in fact my name, and I am the owner. . .silly me. After selecting that option, the mac froze up. i held the power button until it turned off. When I turn the machine on, it doesn't get past the blue screen with the circle of circles.

(also, as a side note, I changed the access permissions for the "everyone" credential to 'no access', but that was before the owner switch)

Did I royally screw something up? Any and all help/tips/advice will be appreciated,
Much obliged,
-mac newb
