Changin slideshow settings in Preview

Does anyone know how to change the settings? Specifically I'm looking to put it on repeat, (maybe) shuffle, and change the time each slide is shown. Also, the transitions between them were alot smoother in Tiger. I know iPhoto has a slideshow feature but I want to use Preview for my own reasons.

Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to your question, but since it's related: also, if anyone knows how to change the zoom level when viewing PDF's in Preview's slide show, I'd appreciate it
