When I get an SMS i see a pop up

I want to change the color etc etc of this pop up
I know its an .artwork file...I dont know the location of it in the Iphone
Can someone explain it to a simple iphone user how to mod this .png or the .artwork file
I'm not that computer savy but I can follow general directions
Also is it possible to put the sender's lil pic in it
