Hi guys hope you're all well - just a quick question i'm wondering if someone could "test" or give me some advice on.

I logged into a friends mac around a month ago to download some stuff for him, i clearly forgot to log out like an idiot so when I returned home i simply removed his mac from the list of devices in my icloud account.

However he today rung me and still said he's getting notifications for my messages (assuming imessages)! So i've gone in and changed my password and ticked the box to sign out of all devices and of course i've signed back in on my iphone again and all is well at my end.

However my question is what will have happened at the macbook end (my friends), i guess he will see the screen to re sign in which he wont be able to do now but does the list of messages stay there or does it completely disappear? I could of course test this (if i had a mac) but i dont!

There's nothing really personal on there but just hoping this has removed him completely before i ask him if i can visit to delete everything!

Kind regards
