At this time, I already have candy bar and that works fine for what candy bar tells me what I can change. The problem is that I don't know how to change icons such as those for Adobe programs, and specialized files in general. Is there some other program or method out there that will do this in os 10.2.2?

You can change an application icon by control-clicking the app, and choosing "show package contents." The icon is ususally in the Resources folder. If the icon is in the .icns format, you will need an app like Iconographer to copy and paste a new icon family.

In the same manner, you can change other icons and graphics associated with an application which are often Tiffs or PNGs. For example, I didn't like Chimera's buttons, so I changed them.
