Well i'm trying to burn a disk image onto a Memorex DVD+DRL using disk utilities. I get everything all into disk utility and the blank cd is there and the DMG. When i select burn and the burn options comes down, it only allows me to burn to the super drive and not to the blank DVD+DRL. I tried going along and just burning it to the SuperDrive and the disk failed to complete the burning. Now when I insert the disk back into my superdrive, nothing pops up. The DVD+DRL does not show in Disk Utility and is not an icon on my desktop. The DVD+DRL is inserted into the superdrive, and the size of the file I am trying to burn is 6.1 GB. My computer DOES support burning DVD+DRL disks.
What I'm trying to figure out is how I can change the burn location with disk utility. I do not want to burn it onto the superdrive. I want to burn it onto the Memorex DVD+DRL disk. How do I fix this?
