Changing carrier logo

I have installed winterboard and also downloaded a alternative carrier logo, how do I go about making the logo display on my phone?

Can this be done completely through my iPhone or do I have to do something on my mac as well?

Depending on what exactly you downloaded you should just need winterboard on your iPhone, go winterboard>select themes>(whatever the carrier logo changer you downloaded was)>winterboard>respring, if you have winterboard installed you can find it either as an app on your homescreen somewhere or in settings
