Hey everybody,
Glad to be back for another iPhone launch! Quick question: I'm pre-approved for a Verizon iPhone XS Max through the IUP and planning to pre-order tonight. I plan to port my number to T-Mobile from Verizon next week to join my company's account, so by the time the iPhone delivers, I will be on T-Mobile. Will I have any issues activating the iPhone because that phone number is not associated with that Verizon account anymore? Are the iPhones sold through IUP still unlocked?

Wondering how I would go about activating. Should I put in the T-Mobile sim before first boot? Or just let it error trying to activate and then put in the sim after the process?

Thanks!

Best bet would be to do in store pickup, so you can hopefully work it out in the store. Ordering tonight with a Verizon phone it will come with Verizon sim and likely have to be activated. Or just port your number after the phone arrives.
