Changing Default Save Folder

Does anyone know how I change the default save folder, which is currently Downloads, on

-Preview
-Adobe Acrobat

(I've already figure out how to do this in Office.) I've already put the preferred folder in the sidebar so it will only take an extra click. But given that I often download and save a large volume of documents, having to remember to click the side bar each time gets tedious.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
