Changing dock icons

I changed all the dock icons but my trash icon.

Im a bit confused on how to change it, ive changed the dock itself. But the trashempty/trashfull icons need to be in .png files?

I get my icons from interfacelift.com

Any help would be wonderful

You can convert a jpg or most other files to PNG in preview if you need to.
