When I used to save a bunch of photos on my computer, I could select a large group and rename the files. Now that I am capturing all my photos directly into iPhoto, I find I cannot change the original filename given by my camera. There are times, when sending photos to others, etc, when I really need the filename to describe the photo better.

I can do a Batch Change in iPhoto, but that only lets me change the title and description of a photo.

Is there a way to do this? Photos sometimes will be used in places other than iPhoto and for posterity, I need the filenames to indicate what the photo is about.

Thanks.
