Changing game data from one iPad to the next?

Here's the deal. I might be getting a new ipad since this one developed a few dead pixels. Under warranty, everything. Apple is bringing me a box to ship this one in to a repair center, and once they receive this ipad, theyre likely to replace the whole thing. Atleast according to the lady I spoke to. Anyway, Ive played many hours of games on here and Id like to transfer game data from one ipad to the next. I wont have both ipads simultaneously for obvious reasons. My question: Will a backup to iCloud from this iPad work for the next iPad, even though I reset this (the first one) one by the time I receive the 2nd? I may be confusing. Ive made a full backup to icloud on this ipad. After I reset this ipad, will that backup still be available for the 2nd (new) ipad? Thx

Yes, it will. Resetting your iPad doesn't affect iCloud data.
