Hi there !

So i am wondering if someone has any idea how i can reinstall OSX on a MBP with an empty hard drive.
I bought my MBP(15") in april 2011 and last week my hard drive broke (my mistake ...). Soo i bought a new one and therefore I don't have the recovery partition.
I heard Apple created a Lion Internet Recovery but I don't know if my Macbook is too old (any information ?) ..

I didn't take the time to burn a DVD and am now stuck, coz I can't figure out a way to get Lion, ML or even SL.

If anyone has an idea about how I could do it, I'd be very grateful.

Thanks !

PS : Sorry for the english, it's not my native language :/

Yep, your computer should be able to access Internet Recovery, so long as you ran the EFI updates that came out a while back. Hold Cmd-R during startup and it should boot from it.
