My drive isn't locked or anything, but I can't seem to change the icon of any of my harddrives (either the startup disk, or secondary internal HD), in the usual way (copy/paste in Get Info).

Can anyone help?

Not sure what's going on there.

Eh, I would just wait for Candybar 3 to do the work for me... without worrying about jeopardizing my system. It's supposedly coming soon.

Well it shouldn't jeopardize my system, it's been the standard way of changing icons for years...strange :)

EDIT: Curiously, I've just discovered that some icons work, and some don't! All of these icons worked on Tiger.

I had issues with changing the icons as well but in the end the copy and paste tricked work but unfortunately my favorite icon doesn't work. Weird. Glad i'm not the only one.
