WHen in safari and you hit apple-f to find a word, is there a way to change the color that the word is highlighted in, for the default grey is imposible to see on the screen.

Pull up your system preferences, click on appearance, it will have two boxes one that says "appearance" and one that says "highlight" if you change the highlight color it should change when you search a word.
 
I strongly recommend Safari 3 beta if you are a user of the Find feature, as it is greatly improved :)

I think he means with the new Find in Safari 3 Beta. It's not really a highlight on the current found word... it's more like an image of the word in white on an orange background.

I'm curious about this too.
