Hey guys,
What would happen if I published my website to my go daddy hosting account both from my own server (using a 3rd party FPT tool) and directly to go daddy's file manager from IWEB '09's built in FTP tool?
Here's the better breakdown:
-- Originally:
I created a website with IWEB 09 and uploaded to Go daddy server using their built in FTP tool.
-- Now I want to:
Redesign my website, then publish from IWEB to my own folder and then upload to my host using Cyberduck.
--Questions:
"mydomain.com" will be published from two different folders as two diff websites: old site from GODADDY's root folder vs new site from my ow comp's new server. What are the repercussions? Which will win? Should I just delete my old GO daddy folders? Will that hurt my search rankings already established?
Hope that makes sense.. I would like to do this because I would like to add advanced options to my IWEB website (dropdown menus, slideshows, etc) and need to use masseditor, etc. THanks in advance!
