Changing iCloud Email Address

Ok, so when I setup my laptop with iCloud, my Apple ID was xxxxx@yahoo.com, so that's the email that iCloud associates with. But, I later changed my Apple ID to xxxxx@gmail.com, but the iCloud address is still showing the Yahoo. How can I change the iCloud address to my Gmail? Every time I turn my laptop on, it asks for the password, with the Yahoo email address showing. When I put it in, the notification comes up again a few minutes later. Let me point out that iCloud IS working on my devices. Could someone please help?

Look at the web site Apple - My Apple ID and get into your account. Once in your account you should be able to uncheck the old address as well as other changes.
