Is it possible in Panther (10.3.4) to change the icon picture of icons on the desktop/Finder? I know I've seen it done, but not sure how to do it. (although I think that was on Jaguar where I saw someone do it)

Thanks for any info :)

yes...get the pic you want...and right-click get info then the small thumb of the pic copy it and open the thing you want that pic to be (ex. the hardrive) then paste and you are done!

Cool thanks! :)

Check out iconfactory.com too. They have a lot of made for OS X icons. Plus I like the fact that they don't have any effing annoying ads and has a clean layout. Good stuff, worth checking out.

Hello,

I asked this question a while back ago but the answers did not give the desired outcome:-(

Is there a way I can change the default icon on specifice file extension types (ie .zip or .war)?

Someone recommended CandyBar -- but that only does it for system type of icons if I am looking at CandyBar correctly.

Any help is appreciated.
