Ok I have around 8000 digital images dating back to 2000. I have them sorted by folders (2000, 2001, 2002,etc...) Each year folder have sub folder with images from different activities. I named all folders with the date the pictures where taken plus their subject (for example, Pictures/2006/02-15-06 Beach)

The most recent images have the correct actual date they where created but most older images have their dates all messed up (maybe due to being transferred over time from the camera to PC to CDs and then to DVDs and ado my older camera had the date messed up too.)

The problem is that when I import all of these images to iPhoto, it sorts them by the actual date in each image and gets all messed up. Can I change the created date on these images? Maybe using automator?

Thanks

Never mind,

I found a great program to do just what I wanted. Its called Miana. With it I was able to change the created and modified date of files and folders.

Pretty good.

Thanks
