In my haste to try and quickly get an order in for the X, I didn’t notice that I signed up for the installment 30 plan. I want the 24 so I can upgrade in a year (iPhone X Plus, hopefully!). I’ve gotten nowhere on the phone with att. I’ve spent almost two hours with different representatives. I especially love how they’re taught to repeat the same thing over and over again and not really listening to me. One CSR thought I was trying to say I didn’t receive my order. After multiple transfers and being on hold, they’re saying I can not do it. Even chatting, they recommend me to call to get the same incompetence.
Has anyone been successful doing this over the phone? I can not go into the att store right now because I’m at work. I think I may have to take a trip to the store. Last year my husband picked the wrong plan but a trip to the store worked. They had to cancel the plan and open a new agreement. I just don’t want to go into the store if I didn’t have to.
