My iTunes is always at 100% volume on the slider within the program, but it is still too quiet for my taste compared to the system sound. Is there a better way to raise the volume of my entire library than putting the Equaliser or whatever on each song ?

Lower the volume of the system sound. You can do that in the apple menu -> system preferences -> sound (or "audio" maybe) -> sound effects.
