Hi, I have a 80GB D2 LaCie Drive, is it possible if when I find the need for it to replace the internal disk of this drive with for example a 250GB one?

I know opening the drive voids the warranty, but I have it for a while now, so I think the warranty expired allready...

I'm not doing it right away, I was just wandering....

grts

it will depend on weather your particular model and firmware of your enclosurer supports that your upgrade size and type of hard drive. my guess you can google around and find ppl who have done it. another guess is your enclosurer won't support more than 137 gb. i.e. it won't have support for lba 48.
