HI guys,

i own an mac-mini 2012. I have tried searching on how to change login screen but most methods dont work as they are outdated.

Overwriting the file "NSTexturedFullScreenBackgroundColor" with my own png didnt work.

I tried loginox, it does work however the custom image seems to be faded out (more greyish).

Anyone managed to get it working perfectly?

I do not how to do this nor do I know a website explaining it, but please make a backup before doing so, as you might frell up your OS that way.
You can use Time Machine, CarbonCopyCloner or SuperDuper! to make restorable backups.

I just post this, as I have seen enough threads were fiddling with the visuals of the OS left the OS unusable or corrupted for a while.
