Changing Mac HD Icon

Is there a way I can change the Mac HD icon on the desktop to something else? I see some posts of people's desktop and they have changed theirs. Can someone tell me how? I want to change teh Hard Drive Icon to a MBP icon or something.

Also, how do I make the album art of the song pop up like this on my desktop?

To change the icon, you can download an appropriate icon from somewhere like interfaceLIFT

and they also have a short, easy-to-understand guide for using them.
