I need to change the margins setting in the new edition of Word. Does anyone know where you need to go to?

File --> Page Setup

At the top of that dialog box, where it says "Settings", click on "Page Attributes" and change it to "Microsoft Word". You should now see a "Margins" button appear. Click on that and you'll see the familiar margins dialog box.

Just spotted another way; display the toolbox and on the formatting palette, there is a section marked "Document Margins"; this is the same thing I think.

In addition to what you've already been told - If you wish to change margins globally (that is for all new documents) open and edit the "normal.dot" template. Make the changes and save it.

Regards.

The File - Page Setup advice (listed on this page) does not work for me.
I would be surprised if it worked for anyone. (I have Mac Word 2011 with an OKI C5650 printer driver).

Try this:
Format - Document

The resulting dialog box in Mac Word 2011 gives you full control over page margins.
