I tend to adjust the tracking speed of my mouse when doing specific tasks on my machine. I'm wondering if there's any app or hotkey that will let me change the mouse sensitivity with a single click or button press? If not, then I might consider purchasing one of those gaming mices with built-in tracking speed buttons..

what kind of mouse are u using, if it is a magic mouse, use this :

-open terminal and past this command

defaults write -globalDomain com.apple.mouse.scaling -float 12.0

re-login your mac and see the difference

I decided to make a script. Didn't know this feature existed (i am new to mac)!

It's doing pretty much what I wanted it to. But how come I can't set a keyboard shortcut for this? Currently I have the application mapped to one of the buttons on my mouse.
