Changing movie details in iTunes

Hi gang,

I need some help, I have tried changing movie names, categories, etc in iTunes, but every time I do this the file becomes unusable.

I right click on the item in iTunes and change the details there, save the changes etc, but then the file refuses to play and I have to re-rip.

I have all my files in the movies folder and I am itching to re-arrange them but can't, used to be able to, but not any more.

Is there something stupid I may have done?

I have tried a few apps that say that they will do this for me automatically, but it never works.
