changing name in email app

How do i change name on iphone 4s in the email app that i used when first signing up i have the correct real name on my email when sending emails on desktop but when using the mail app on iphone to send emails it is still showing old name i updated the name to mine on apple website last month it saved but has not updated on phone i went into mail settings on iphone and update name on there as well how would i change name in email app?

You can try removing the email account and then adding it back in.

i saw what the issue was the old name from home contact wasn't updated so i edited it and that fixed my problem
