Hello,
I just bought a MacBook Pro 15" 2018 model with a Norwegian keyboard layout.
I was wondering how can I change the keys that are non-english?
can I go to apple and get it done? or do I have to look at a 3rd party keys to do it myself?
does apple offer a keyboard change of just the keyboard without changing the bottom case? (i think the UK has a similar layout to Norwegian)
i would appreciate if anyone that had done something similar maybe with a different language could shed some light on how do i go and do that.
thanks!

Well, if you want to stay first party, here is apples developer page on that: https://developer.apple.com/library/archive/technotes/tn2450/_index.html

If you want something simpler, you can use a third party tool such as Karabiner Elements.

Whatever you choose, it will require processes to run on login. I used Automator to create a script using Apple’s instructions and added it to my login items in the users and groups preference pane. I’m using a UK Keyboard in the US on a thirteen inch MacBook Pro running 10.14.6. Hopefully this helps, as it took me a while to figure out.

But why would i need to remap the keys? Cant i just use a uk keyboard on the mac?
Also i have seen that this model has an integrated keyboard so if somthing happens to it and apple replaces it for me than can i ask to get a us keyboard instead? Does anyone have experience with that?

It is possible to replace individual key caps. I do not know if Apple would do it for you. Typically I would recommend that a user look for key caps in their language on eBay, as they can be had fairly cheaply. With the butterfly Keyboard, I don’t know if I would try that myself. The keyboard itself is not very robust, and if you break it Apple might refuse to fix it free of charge.

I have not bothered to swap out key caps for my own computer, as most of the ones that would need replacing are not compatible in terms of the shape of the keyboard. The individual UK keys such as the left shift key are of different dimensions than the US Keyboard. (This is for my computer)

In conclusion, I think the main person who would answer your question would be Apple themselves. I recommend you give them a call!
