I know exactly where this file is but i am unable to edit it, i try sudo vi /etc/motd
then it gives me a password prompt, i put my password and says failed...... whats the default password for this? root? cause nothing is working!

edit: NEVERMIND i must have been typing in my password wrong.... cause vi finally camp up after i just tried it again lol
