I wanna replace my back plate on my 4S but I'm curious if the standard apple plate has any parts such as a lens that the aftermarkets don't. I don't want to loose camera quality. Anyone here have any info about this?

Make sure you get one with the lens housing and flash diffuser. I don't know if the 4s has the same back as the 4 but I would assume, don't hold me to it.
Well I found out some info from jackbacks.com. They make wooden backplates. There IS a difference. Go there and see for yourself. They are waiting for the new lenses to come in. So if you use an old back plate made for the 4 then you may loose some performance.
