when i restore my iphone, it always defaults my settings to a city im not living in. perhaps coincidentally, it restores to the city i bought it in (for example, my weather app and my 'default location' on webpages) i realize i can change this after the fact, but its becoming annoying having to go through all my apps and web pages and change the setting manually. i have spoke to my carrier and they assure me its nothing they can help me with; however, this 'minor inconvenience' is slowly becoming a major pain in the *ss. im on Fido (Canada) and my best instinct is telling me this does actually have something to do with my carrier. i didn't buy the phone at a fido kiosk - i purchased it over the phone with one of their representatives with the 3G first came out so is it possible they defaulted the phone to a particular city before it left their warehouse? is there any way to 'default' it someplace else? can anybody point me in the right direction to get this little headache of mine solved?
