Hey everyone,

I'm having an issue on the MacOS, running the most recent update. I'd like to set PDF expert as the result PDF reader. I typically jingle large PDF sets, and that app syncs well among my devices.

When I right click, while holding the options key, and select "always open with" (something alone those lines) on a PDF file, and select PDF expert, I get the unknown app/developer message. It never sets PDF expert as the default program across the board for pdfs, and defaults to preview.

Is there anyway around this? PDF excerpt, among other reasons, is a large factor in why I moved back to macOS for my laptop needs. I appreciate the help

Happy holidays!

First open PDF Expert from the app so that you get rid of the unknown developer issue. Then right-click on the icon of a pdf file in Finder and choose Get Info. In GetInfo use the Open With popup to change the open with file to PDF Expert, then click the "Change All" button below the popup.

Thank you very much. That took care of it!
