Changing the name of your home

When I got my aluminum MacBook it needed my apple id to get everything set up. At the time I did not have MobileMe, and thus it named my home device my crappy online handle I used a few years ago. I wanted the machine to appear professional and now I have this username which looks entirely unprofessional. My User Account in System Preferences is my name but the home in the finder still shows the username. Anyway to change that?

EDIT: My suggestion will change your short name (you'll be able to login with whatever you change it to), but your Home directory will stay the same and you'll have to follow the previous poster's instructions to change that.

I have a time machine so if it F's anything up I can go back in time

EDIT: I see that it isn't recommended past Panther.

EDIT 2: Sounds good man, i'll backup before I do just to be safe LOL
