Peace in Plainfield
I'm trying to change how the time looks on my menu bar from
Sun 11:24 PM to something like
15 Apr 11:24 PM
and I know how to do that and know what to change in the International settings, but my settings do not change the menu bar. Rebooting only resets what I set in the International settings in System Preferences.
Something is keeping me from changing how it looks.
Any ideas?

P.S. I was able to do this in 10.4.8 and updated to 10.4.9
My computer crashed and I reinstalled, and jumped from my Install disk 10.4.7 to .9 and THEN tried to change the time/date format on menu bar but it won't stick

Heh
Now I can't seem to get rid of the "EST" at the end. It shows up nowhere in my International settings and yet I cant get rid of it.

I really think my clock menu bar is SEVERELY!!! fubar'd
No matter what I change it to
it likes to remain in the way "Sun 11:43 EDT"

Wow that was really painful
I just copied and pasted the same format to Short Medium, Long and Full to be the same format that I wanted, and it was perfect.
Another case solved. :)
Thanks for the suggestion
