Changing trackpad settings in boot and login screen : is it possible?

Hello all,

pretty self explanatory, I'm sick of the default trackpad settings in those 2 screens, where I can only hard-click and the mouse speed is really slow...

I'm talking about Lion, I guess the boot screen is the same for every version..

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
