changing video resolution

hey all
i have a movie that downloaded... and the resolution is all weird, i used cleaner to change the resolution, and i got it to look normal, but i cant get it to save
using quicktime i cant simply change the resolution, is there an easy fix without cleaner? cause all it does is bug me to no end, and i find it unreliable...

So anyone? easy fix?
